Welcome to Graphic by Nature Studios! I’m Ashley Franzen, the creative force behind this business and a lifelong artist with a passion for bringing ideas to life. Art has always been a central part of who I am, inspiring not only my career but also the name of my business.

From Childhood Dream to Creative Career

As a child, whenever someone asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” my answer was always a resounding, “Artist!” Despite those who doubted the practicality of my dream, I held onto my passion for art and committed to making it my reality.

After earning my degree in Graphic Design Technologies in 2014, I began my professional journey working at a local sign shop. There, I gained invaluable experience in design, production, and customer collaboration. By 2016, I felt ready to carve my own path and started freelancing. Just two years later, Graphic by Nature Studios was officially born in 2018!

The Creative Work I Love

Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of working on a diverse range of projects, including:

• Custom logos that help businesses stand out.
• Shirt designs for events, teams, and organizations.
• Marketing materials like brochures and business cards.
• Vehicle graphics that turn cars into eye-catching mobile advertisements.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is creating 100% custom illustrations. From brainstorming ideas to sketching concepts, refining details, and bringing designs to life in printed form, the creative process is what fuels my passion. Seeing a project evolve from concept to completion—and knowing it helps my clients achieve their goals—is an incredibly fulfilling experience.

Life Beyond the Studio

When I’m not busy designing, you’ll find me spending quality time with my amazing husband and our two children. Outside of work, I love to read, explore new ideas, and create art simply for fun. Staying inspired and continually honing my skills is just as important to me as delivering exceptional work for my clients.
